Since Halloween is next month, your Webmaster includes an archival slide show of a few cars from the former Imperial Palace Las Vegas museum and showroom. I believe it is now on the 5th floor of the Linq garage. Worth seeing if you are down that way.
Believe it or not Halloween is fast approaching !! This year as in past years, the annual Hellcats Racers Car Show and Halloween celebration will be bigger than ever.
This year the event will be held at the Antique mall on Las Vegas Blvd just a few blocks north of the SouthPoint Hotel, on the west side of the street.
Date; Sat. Oct. 29, 2016
The hours will be from 12:00 pm 10pm.
In addition to hundreds of cars, and car show with awards, there will be carnival rides, bands, games for kids,and great food.
MAKE SURE YOU BRING PLENTY OF CANDY TO PASS OUT.
Dressing in costume is optional but a good idea.
Since this is a planned event for our Veterans Auto Club. ( I just volunteered to run this event) it is important that we know who is coming !!!! I will get there early and arrange for a group parking area for our club.

Activities VP Harry Ransom listed several upcoming events:
September 7-8 – Commemorative Air Force Show at the Henderson Executive Airport. For a small entry fee you can see all the planes and go inside the great B29 Bombers flown in WWII. Some of our members attended this event last year and were very pleased and would do it again.
September 10 – Cannery East Side End of Summer Show.
September 24 – Wurst Dam Car Show at Boulder City.
October 1 – Speedway Children’s Charity event – 10 AM – 3:30 PM. Judging with trophies. Four free tickets to all entrants.
OCTOBER 22 – Show & Shine at Twin Peaks on Eastern and Serene.
NOVEMBER 19 – 20 – Route 66 Tour. See Jeanie’s informative article on page 8 of this publication.
DECEMBER 3 – Boulder City Parade of Lights.
DECEMBER 6 – High Rollers Christmas Party.
